Cancellation & Refund Policy: D&D with Kat

My goal is to provide a high-quality, narratively rich experience. Because a significant portion of my work (narrative design, character integration, and technical setup) occurs before the session begins, the following policies apply for private bookings.

Private Booking Policies

Deposits & Prep Fees

  • The 50% Booking Deposit: This deposit is non-refundable. It secures your date on my calendar and covers the custom narrative preparation and administrative work required to build your adventure.

Cancellations
& Rescheduling

  • More than 48 Hours Notice:

    • ​If you need to reschedule, your deposit can be transferred to a new date (one-time courtesy) at no additional cost.

  • Less than 48 Hours Notice:

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are not eligible for a refund or a deposit transfer, as it is difficult to fill that time slot on short notice.

  • No-Shows:

    • If a group or individual is more than 20 minutes late without prior communication, the session will be considered a "No-Show." No refunds or credits will be issued.

GM Cancellations

  • In the rare event that I must cancel a session due to illness or emergency, you will be offered a 100% refund (including your deposit) or the option to reschedule with a credit toward a future session.

Safety & Conduct

  • I prioritize a safe, inclusive table for everyone. If a session must be terminated early due to a player's violation of our agreed-upon Lines and Veils or conduct policy, no refund will be issued for the remaining time.
